GALLOWAY WIN NO 7 FOR SHEILA
Sheila McMurtrie (Dalbeattie) won the Galloway women's county golf championship for the third year in a row and the seventh time in all at Wigtownshire County Golf Club on Sunday.
Sheila had rounds of 76 and 81 for an aggregate of 157 _ one shot ahead of runner-up Christine Meldrum (Stranraer) who had scores of 78 and 80.
Stella Booth (Portpatrick Dunskey) was third on 166 with a pair of 83s.
