AEG ENGLISH LADIES' CLOSE AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP


LITTLESTONE GOLF CLUB : 12 - 16 AUGUST 2002


Format Two 18 hole qualifying rounds played on Monday & Tuesday 12/13
August. The players returning the lowest 32 scores qualify for
matchplay
Course 6125 yards SSS 72

Two of the England Team to play in the Home International Matches next
week led on level par 72 after the first qualifying round of the AEG
English Ladies' Close Amateur Championship at Lilttlestone. Alex
Keighley (Lightcliffe) dropped shots at the 7th & 14th but recovered
with birdies at 16 & 17, Kirsty Fisher (Royal Lytham & St Annes)
dropped a shot at the 6th after a birdie at the 3rd, whilst birdies at
the long 16th & 18th made up for a double bogie 5 at the 14th.
