Nicola Melville (Bridge of Allan) won the Scratch
prize in the East of Scotland Girls Spring Meeting at Burntisland
on Sunday 11th April 2004. Her score of 78 was matched by Claire
McLaughlin (Kilspindie) but Nicola won on the better inward half.
Susan McKerracher (Alva/Alloa) took the best handicap with 104 less
33 for a nett 71, on the better inward half from Claire McLaughlin.
However Claire did get into the prizelist as she won the Under 18
handicap on the better inward half from Ashleigh Wilton (Ladybank).
Stephanie Barclay (Kirkcaldy) took the Under 16 prize with 97 less
25 net 72 and Samantha Lamb (Glencorse) won the Under 14 prize with
105 less 26 net 79.
The CSS remained the same as the SSS at 71.
East of Scotland Girls are very grateful to the Captain and Council
of Burntisland Golf Club for allowing them to play on their fine
golf course. Hospitality in the clubhouse was also excellent.
