TARA DELANEY STEADY BUT SISTER
KAREN HAS ANOTHER NIGHTMARE

Tara Delaney repeated her opening score of two-over-par 73 to be lying joint seventh with some players still to complete their second rounds in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia course, Athens in Georgia today.
Tara had 16 pars and two bogeys, at the fifth and 16th.
Contrast that with the Irish Curtis Cup player's older sister Karen Delaney, also a former Irish girls champion and also a student at Kent State University, Ohio.
Karen had a horrific 91 in the second round - eight shots worse than her 83 on the first day.
Karen had a triple bogey at the 11th and double bogeys at the second, 12th and 17th in halves of 42 and 49 for the par-71, 6,260yd course.
She had only three par figures on the outward half but none at all on the way home.
Karen is 92nd in a field of 96 players.
