JANE WINS P&K CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS'
TOURNAMENT FOR SECOND TIME
Jane Yellowlees, who qualified as women's club champion at Murrayshall and Crieff, today won the Perth & Kinross women's champion of champions' golf tournament over the Queen's Course at Gleneagles.
It was the second time she had won the end of the season fixture and she did it in extremely windy, tough playing conditions with a round of 81, six over the CSS of 75, which was non-counting.
Gwen Lambie (Dunkeld) was runner-up with an 83 and Caroline Dunbar (Aberfeldy) third with an 84.
All 15 club champions who took part deserved a medal.
