KRYSTLE'S SOUND START ON US COLLEGE
CIRCUIT: 73 AT FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE

Krystle Caithness from Cellardyke, Fife made a solid debut on the American women's college golf circuit today in the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club, Franklin in Tennessee.
Caithness, 18, pictured right, who recently started a four-year golf scholarship at the University of Georgia, had a one-over-par score of 73 over the 6,305yd course. She bogeyed the ninth to be out in one-over 37 and bogeyed the 16th before birdieing the 17th.
Glasgow girl Gemma Webster, a student at Ohio State University, also had a 73 with birdies at the seventh and 17th and bogeys at the first, eighth and 14th.
Tiffany John (UCLA) was the first-round leader of a field of 90 players with a seven-under-par 65.
