GEMMA LYING 11th AFTER TWO
ROUNDS OF LANDFALL TRADITION
AT WILMINGTON

Glasgow's Gemma Webster (Ohio State University) had rounds of 72 and 75 for a 36-hole tally of 147 and 11th place in a field of 60 players going into Sunday's final round of the Women's Landfall Tradition college tournament at Country Club of Landfall, Wilmington in North Carolina.
Gemma, pictured left, had birdies at the short third and seventh in her par-matching first round and then started badly in the second with a bogey at the first and a double bogey7 at the long second. But she settled down after that to birdie the short third for a second time and the short sixth as well at the long eighth.
Leading the field in French girl Christel Boeljon (Purdue University) with 68 and 72 for four-under-par 140.

She leads by one from two Wake Forest players, Laura Crawford (69-72) and Nanette Hill (75-66).
Wake Forest (577) lead the team event from Purdue (586). Ohio State (599) are lying sixth of 12.
