PAMELA FEGGANS HAS
ONE-OVER-PAR 73
IN FUTURES QUALIFIER

Londoner Polly Willett returned a three-under-par 69 (34-35) in the first round of the Duramed Futures Tour Qualifying tournament in Florida.
That was only one shot behind leaders Elena Roberts from California and South Korean amateur Yoo Jin Jan.
Natalie Cruse, an amateur from Surrey, was in joint 31st place with a par 72.
Pamela Feggans, pictured right, from Ayrshire was joint 45th on 73.
Brenda McLarnon from Belfast was in joint 112th position with a 76.
There is a mammoth field of 312 players taking part over three par-72 courses: Cleveland Heights (6,203yd), Huntington Hills (6,103yd) and Schalamar Creek (6,060yd).
The field will be cut after 54 holes to 90 players who will play the final round on Friday at Cleveland Heights.
