VIKKI'S LPGA Q SCHOOL HOPES LOOK BLEAK
AFTER A 77 TO BE IN JT 117TH POSITION

Vikki Laing slipped further down the standings after a second-round 77 for a 36-hole tally of nine-over-par 153 in the LPGA Tour Final Qualifying School at LPGA International, Daytona Beach in Florida today.
The Musselburgh exile is now in joint 117th position in the field of 135 and would need to stage a fantastic revival even to make the leading 70 and ties who will contest the fifth and final round after the cut at the end of 72 holes.
England's Samantha Heath dropped back to joint 65th place on 147 after a 74 but she still has a fighting chance of prolonging her interest.
The same cannot be said for compatriots Joanne Morley and Kiran Matharu who are in joint 110th and joint 131st positions. Joanne had a repeat 76 for 152 while Kiran improved by nine shots with a 74 but her nightmare opening round of 83 sees her near the bottom of the field on 157.
American Jane Park leads by three shots after scores of 65 and 70 for nine-under-par 135. Kelli Kuehne has maintained second place on 138 with rounds of 67 and 71.
