HDA FESTIVAL ENTRANT DANI MASTERS
WINS BBC SOUTH EAST FEMALE
SPORTS PERSONALITY AWARD

Ladies European Tour player Danielle (Dani) Masters, who will be playing in the Hacienda del Alamo Women's Winter Festival from February 10 to 23, is celebrating after being named female sports personality of the year in the BBC South East sports awards.
It has rounded off a successful 2007 for the Maidstone-based 24-year-old, who secured six top-20 finishes and a second place in the Ladies Scottish Open.
She said: “I’m so lucky to be doing something I love and to be improving every year is a fantastic feeling.
“I still have so much to learn and I find that very exciting. To be with Chart Hills Golf Club and have their support is a massive boost; knowing that the whole club is behind me and wanting me to do well.”
Chart Hills’ general manager Rod Park said: “This completes quite a sensational year for Dani, who’s really starting to make a significant impact on the ladies’ game.
“It’s great for Chart Hills, not just because we have a successful professional golfer in our but because many of our members know Danielle, which creates an empathy from the club with her continued success.”
