In the Claude Roger Cartier Trophy for under 18s, Lisa Maguire's twin sister Leona is through to the second round with a 4&3 win over Clemence Abrahamian, but Rachel Connor lost on the last green against Celine Boutier.
Spain won the Nations Tournament for the Vilmorin Trophy, with an aggregate total of 279, by five shots from Germany 1 (284), followed by England 2 (295) sharing third place with France 2.
