ANNA SCOTT FIGHTS BACK TO
SALVAGE PAR IN STATES

Durham's Anna Scott (Georgia State University) matched the par of 72 over the 6150yd Golden Horseshoe Golf Club course at Williamsburg, Virginia to be in fourth place at the end of the first round in the Colonial Athletic Association Women's Championship.
Anna, pictured right, did well to retrieve the situation after a double bogey 6 at the third and another shot dropped at the fourth. The six-footer from Consett started her revival with a 2 at the short seventh and she then birdied the 10th, 13th and short 17th before bogeying the 18th for 34 home.
Ashley Tait (North Carolina-Wilmington) leads on 69.
