Sacre bleu! The French are coming back!
Buoyed by their success in the "Helen Holm" - Troon title-winner Barbara Genuini was one of a record number of 22 French entrants, the French Golf Federation are sending 18 players over to St Andrews for the St Rule Trophy tournament over the Old Course, on Sunday, May 25.
They include Mademoiselle Genuini (picture left by courtesy of Cal Carson Golf Agency, all rights reserved) who will be bidding to become the first French player to win the St Rule Trophy, reduced to 36 holes on one day this year because of the Curtis Cup match over the Old Course from Friday to Sunday the following week.
