Neil Henderson joint sixth at
Kitty Hawk, North Carolina

Former Scottish schoolboys champion Neil Henderson, a freshman student at Old Dominion University, is settling well on the American college circuit. He has just had another good performance - joint sixth in a field of 77 for the ODU Seascape men's college tournament at Seascape Links, Kitty Hawk in North Carolina.
Neil from North Berwick scored 73 and 71 for a level par total of 144.
He finished four shots behind the joint winners, Jim Bea (St Joseph's) (68-72) and Tobias Pettersson (Liberty) (69-71).
Old Dominion (579) won the team event from Campbell University (586) with James Madison University) third on 589 in a field of 15 teams.

DAVID ADDISON DOWN THE FIELD IN NEW MEXICO
Kilmarnock Barassie member David Addison, in his final year as a student at the University of Akron, Ohio, had scores of 74, 77 and 73 for a total of 224 and joint 57th place in the Herb Wimberley Intercollegiate tournament at the NMSU course at Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The course was a long 7074 with a demanding par of 71.
Travis Reid (New Mexico State) took the individual honours with very good scores of 72, 70 and 66 for a total of 208 and a one-shot win.
New Mexico State won the team event by eight shots from Kansas State in a field of 18 teams.
