LGU Coronation Foursomes expands
into Ireland in 2009

The LGU is delighted to invite clubs in Ireland to participate in the 2009 Peugeot LGU Coronation Foursomes event. More than 34,000 ladies played in 2008, and with Irish clubs now joining, that number is set to rise significantly.
Sinead Heraty, CEO of the Irish Ladies’ Golf Union, said “This is a wonderful opportunity for our members to represent their club and progress to a GB&I final. Representative golf is very strong in Ireland and I have no doubt this competition will be very popular for all our members.”
Club winners will proceed to one of the various Area Finals which will be held throughout Great Britain and Ireland. Area Final winners will then join the LGU in St Andrews.
They will play in the Grand Final on Monday, September 21 and enjoy a Gala Dinner in the luxury Old Course Hotel. A victory in the Grand Final will see the lucky pair joining one of the world’s top professionals to play in the Ricoh Women’s British Open Pro-Am.
In order that we can assist you as necessary in scheduling this new event in your diary, you may wish submit this quick online participation form.
The LGU will then send you some information to enable you to support the launch of this fantastic event in Ireland
