Olivia (age 13) wins Aberdeenshire girls' opening

Stableford with fine total of 45 points

Olivia Borwick, a 13-year-old, 29-handicap junior member of McDonald Ellon Golf Club, had an excellent Stableford points round of 45 to win the Aberdeenshire girls' first competition of the new season at an overcast, quite cold Stonehaven Golf Club today.
Runner-up with 42pt, laying off 34, was Zoe Marr (Inverurie), daughter of the Meldrum House professional, Neil Marr, who coaches Paul Lawrie & Scottish Golf Union boys.
