Bothwell Castle scratch player Colin Baird won the inaugural Paul Lawrie Foundation Junior Jug Grand Final by five strokes over one round at Dundonald Links, Ayrshire today.
Baird matched the par of 72, a great effort in the testing conditions which pushed the CSS up by three shots and was non-counting (reductions only).
Runner-up on 77 was Jamie Lynch (Falkirk Carmuirs) with Scott Gibson (Southerness) and Eamon Bradley (Mount Ellen) sharing third place on 78.
The leading girl was Katie McCracken (Powfoot) with a 91, two shots ahead of Megan Clyne (Deeside). The girls' CSS was 76 as their SSS was 73.
