Stephanie Meadow's jt 16th finish in Annika Invitational

Stephanie Meadow from Northern Ireland finished joint 16th in a quality field of 62 players for the Annika Sorenstam Girls' Invitational tournament over three rounds at the Indepence Course at Reunion Resort, Florida.
Stephanie, a student at the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, had rounds of 76, 74 and 76 for a total of 226 over the 6420yd course.
The winner was 16-year-old Victoria Tanco from Argentina. She had rounds of 73, 66 and 72 for 211. She finished three shots ahead of Israel's Laetitia Beck who is a student at a golf academy in Florida but will be enrolling at Duke University, Durham in North Carolina in the autumn.
Laetitia had scores of 68, 71 and 75, having been level with Victoria at the start of the final day's play.
