BORDERS versus DUMFRIES-SHIRE
TITLE DECIDER AT THORNHILL


The winner of the South Division women’s inter-county team golf championship will be decided by the final match between Borders and Dumfries-shire after Galloway beat Borders 5-4 at Thornhill Golf Club today (Sunday).
In the first match of the tournament, on Saturday, Dumfries-shire beat Galloway 7-2.

On Monday, Dumfries-shire play Borders, and if they win they take the title, but if they lose each County will have had won once and the number of games won will decide who goes through to a place in the Scottish county championship finals at Tulliallan Golf Club at the end of August.

Borders: played 1, won 0, lost 1, games won 4
Galloway: played 2 won 1, lost 1 games won 7
Dumfriesshire: played 1, won 1, lost 0, games won 7
