PAMELA FEGGANS HOPES TO PLAY IN
HACIENDA DEL ALAMO FESTIVAL

Former Scotland amateur international Pamela Feggans from the village of Patna, near Ayr is going to try to fit an appearance at the Hacienda del Alamo Women's Winter Festival (February 10 to 23) into her plans for the early part of 2008.
Pamela, now a professional, earned playing rights on next year's US Futures Tour by finishing in the leading 40 at last week's qualifying tournament over three courses at Lakeland, Florida.
Here is Pamela's messsage to the Tournament Controller:
"Hi Colin. Thanks for your email. I will have to get back to you about playing in the Hacienda del Alamo Women's Festival. I will be returningto the States sometime in February but don't know when yet. It sounds like you have a great location in southern Spain for the Festival. I hope you get a good turn-out. I am still in Florida at the moment, but will be returning home on Friday. I will let you know as soon as possible if I will be able to play. Pamela."
+The Hacienda del Alamo Festival is made up of six events over two weeks. Entry is open to lady professionals and lady amateurs with a single-figure handicap. Click on the HDA Women's Festival words on the left hand column of the screen to get all the necessary details. There is no minimum or maximum age for competitors. A single-figure handicap is the only "must" for amateur competitors.
+No tournament entry fees have to be paid until competitors get to the Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort which is close to the small town of Fuento Alamo and near the city of Murcia in south-east Spain. The mid-February temperatures there are perfect for practice and for competititve golf. Entries must be E-mailed to Colin Farquharson (Tournament Controller) at colin@scottishgolfview.com
