SECOND ROUND WASHED OUT IN TEXAS

Tuesday's second round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational over the University of Texas course at Austin was washed out by heavy and prolonged rain. The tournament will now be reduced to 36 holes with the final 18 holes being played today (Wednesday).
Jodi Ewart (New Mexico) and Gemma Webster (Ohio State) had first round 79s and Hannah Burke (Baylor) an 82.
US Curtis Cup team selection Stacy Lewis (Arkansas Univesity) had a 74 to be joint third behind Ornella Jouven (Florida), surprise lead with a par-matching 72.
