Champion Lesley Hendry toppled
at West Kilbride

Defending champion Lesley Hendry (Routenburn) lost in the first round of the Ayrshire women's county golf championship to Catherine Malcolm at West Kilbride Golf Club today (Wed).
The Prestwick Nicholas player won by 3 and 2 but lost in the quarter-finals to leading qualifier Morag Macpherson (Troon Ladies) by 5 and 4.
In Thursday morning's semi-finals Macpherson will play clubmate Rachael McQueen while Alex
