VIKKI (joint 12th) LOOKS SET TO MAKE
IT THROUGH TO LPGA Q SCHOOL

Only a last-round collapse can prevent Vikki Laing winning a place in the LPGA Tour Final Qualifying school at Daytona Beach, Florida in early December.
The 27-year-old US-based former Curtis Cup player from Musselburgh had a 73 in the third round of the last of the LPGA Sectional Qualifiers at Venice, Florida today (Thursday). She had earlie scores of 73 and 69.
With a 54-hole tally of one-under-par 215, the Scot is joint 12th among the 72 players who survived the halfway cut. Only the leading 30 and ties at the end of the fourth round will advance to the LPGA Final Q School.
Spanish Ladies European Tour player Beatriz Recari is sharing the lead at seven-under-par 209 with an American amater, Jaclyn Sweeney.
