Paisley, Renwick share 11th place in


Invitational at Statesboro, Georgia

Walker Cup team place contender Chris Paisley (Tennessee University) from Newcastle will start the final round in joint 11th place at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational men's college tournament at Forest Heights County Club, Statesboro, Georgia.
Chris has had rounds of 71 and 73 for a 36-hole tally of 144 over the par-72, 6947yd course.
Team-mate and compatriot Darren Renwick, pictured above, from Worthing, Sussex is on the the same level park with scores of 74 and 70.
Tom Sherreard (Georgia State), a third English player in the field is back in a share of 34th place in a field of 96 with scores of 70 and 77 for 147.
South Carolina and Florida are sharing the team title lead on 579 - but only one shot ahead of Tennessee (580) with North Carolina State (582) a close-up fourth in a field of 18 teams
