SALLY, JODI AND STEPHANIE THROUGH TO US WOMEN'S AMATEUR MATCH-PLAY Sally Watson from Queensferry qualified with ease for the match-play stages of the United States women's amateur golf championship at Old Warson Country Club, St Louis, Missouri,. Sally had rounds of 74 and 73 for a total of 147 - nine shots behind the top seed, Danielle King from California. Danielle had rounds of 70 and 68 for 138. Sally's GB&I team-mate, Jodi Ewart from Catterick, and former Irish girls champion Stephanie Meadow (Royal Portrush) also figured among the 64 qualifiers. Jodi had rounds of 73 and 75 for 148, Stephanie a pair of 75s for 150. Sally qualified in 32nd place, Jodi 39th and Stephanie 61st. ends
