Darren Renwick joint winner of Carpet

Captial Collegiate tournament

Darren Renwick from Worthing, Sussex - now a student at Tennessee University - has tied with Swedish Texas Tech student Nils Floren for victory in the Carpet Capital Collegiate tournament at The Farm Golf Club, Rocky Face, Georgia.
Both Renwick and Floren finished on six-under-par 216. There was no play-off.
Renwick scored 71, 70 and 69. Floren's rounds were 73, 69 and 68.
Former Scottish boys champion Michael Stewart (East Tennessee State) from Troon shared 24th place on 220 with scores of 78, 70 and 72.
The individual performances of Renwick and Sweden's Robin Wingardh, joint third on 211, helped Tennessee win the team event by 12 strokes from Chattanooga.
