Ladies' British open amateur championship

UPDATES FROM THIS AFTERNOON'S SEMI-FINALS
AT ALWOODLEY GOLF CLUB, LEEDS

IT'S A CIGANDA v NORDQVIST FINAL ON SUNDAY MORNING


CARLOTA CIGANDA (Spain) bt CAROLINE WESTRUP (Sweden) 5 and 4.

Ciganda won first hole with a birdie 3.
Ciganda went two up with another birdie 3 at the second hole.
Westrup won the third with a par 5 to be only one down.
The fourth, fifth and six holes were halved.
The short seventh hole was halved in birdie 2s for Ciganda to remain one up.
Eighth hole halved in par 5s.
CIGANDA won the short ninth with a par 3 to go two up at the turn.
The 10th hole was halved in bogey 5s.
The 11th hole was halved in par 3s.
Ciganda birdied the 12th to increase her lead to three holes.
Ciganda went four up with a par at the 12th.
Ciganda won the match 5 and 4 with a birdie 2 at the short 14th.

ANNA NORDQVIST (Sweden) bt RACHEL BELL (Ganton) 4 and 2.

The first two holes were halved in par.
Nordquist won the third hole on a concession to go one up.
Nordqvist won fourth hole on another concession to go two up.
Nordqvist birdied the fifth hole to go three up.
Nordqvist won the sixth with a par to go four up.
Nordqvist won her fifth hole in a row, the seventh, with a par to go five up.
The eighth and ninth holes were halved in par, leaving Nordqvist five up at the turn.
Bell scored her first success at the 10th, winning it with a par 4 to be four down.
The 11th was halved in par 3s.
Bell won the 12th with a birdie 3 to be three down.
Bell won the 13th with a par 4 to be two down.
Nordqvist won the short 14th with a birdie 2 to regain a three-hole lead.
The 15th was halved in par 4s.
Nordqvist won the 16th with an eagle 3 for a 4 and 2 win.
