Krystle and Jodi outgunned
so far by US Curtis Cup stars

GB&I team members Krystle Caithness (Georgia University) and Jodi Ewart (New Mexico University) are being outgunned in a current American college golf tournament by members of the United States Curtis Cup team for St Andrews at the end of May.
Amanda Blumenherst (Duke University), ranked the No 1 female college player in the States, has scored 69 and 68 to be lying in second place on seven-under-par 137 with one round to go in the UYCF Challenge at Red Tail Golf Club, Sorrento in Florida.
The leader, Duke team-mate Alison Whitaker, is on eight-under-par 136 with scores of 65 and 71. She has not been selected to play for America over the Old Course.
US Curtis Cup team selections, Tiffany Joh (UCLA) is in sixth place on 139 (70-69), Jennie Lee (Duke) in jt 13th place on 143 (74-69) and Stacy Lewis (Arkansas) joint 28th on 146 (70-76).
Krystle Caithness, pictured above, from Cellardyke, Fiofe, has scored 74 and 73 for 147, which puts her in joint 36th place.
Jodi Ewart from Catterick, Yorkshire, has had rounds of 73 and 77 (including a triple bogey 8 at the seventh) for 150. She dropped from a share of 32nd place to joint 60th.
Tennessee student Rebecca Watson from South Queensferry, whose younger sister Sally is a member of the GB&I team, is sharing 92nd place with a pair of 81s for 162.
Duke (564) lead the team event from Purdue (572) and Southern California and Florida (both 575) with Georgia joint sixth on 580 and New Mexico 17th of 18 on 605.
