Top 7 place for Krystle

Krystle Caithness, from Cellardyke in Fife, helped the University of Georgia to tie for first place in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic held over her home course in Athens, Georgia, at the weekend. Her team tied with Purdue on 900, 12 strokes better than Alabama with Arkansas another 4 strokes adrift. Duke and Kent State tied for 5th on 918.
Krystle's rounds of 75, 72 and 77 for 224 put her in a tie for 7th place with team-mate Mallory Hetzel. Her 72 was the best of the second round scores.
Christina Boeljon and Maria Hernandez (both Purdue) tied for first place on 218, with Amanda Blumenhurst (Duke) sharing third place with Kathleen Ekay (Alabama) on 220.
Tara Delaney (Kent State) tied for 40th place on 235 with scores of 75, 77, and 83 and Danielle McVeigh (Texas A&M) was one shot back with scores of 77, 79 and 80 for 236.
