Claire Starkey goes from 85 to 68 in
three easy stages at Cincinnati

English students Claire Starkie (Georgia State University) from Skipton, Yorkshire and Clara Leathers (Middle Tennessee University from Aylesbury finished joint 15th and joint 49th respectively in a field of 57 players for the Cincinnati Fall Classic over the Elks Run golf course (par 72, 6207yd) at Batavia, Ohio.
Iliksa Verwey (George State) won the individual honours with scores of 64, 76 and 70 for six-under-par 210.
She won by five shots from Mary Betancourt (Augusta State) 71-67-77.
Claire had three contrasting rounds of 85, 77 and 68 for a total of 230.
Clara scored 75, 87 and 87 for 249.
Georgia State (880) won the team event from Augusta State (896) with Cincinnati (906) third and Middle Tennessee (908) fourth of 10.

Adam Lindsay finishes third at Oskaloosa

Banchory's Adam Lindsay (Iowa Wesleyan Collge) finished third behind team-mate Emery McGrath and Mike Hewsselman (Viterbo University) who tied for first place on 143 in the Statemen Fall Classic at Edmundson Golf Club, Oskaloosa in Iowa.
Lindsay had rounds of 72 and 73 for 145 in a field of 56 players.
With three players in the first four place, Iowa Wesleyan (590) won the team event by six shots from Viterbo University in field of eight teams.
