Sian and Hannah go out ... but

Charlie Douglass in last eight
Charlie Douglass (Brocket Hall), winner of the Murcia Ladies Open and the Hacienda del Alamo Ladies Open at the 2nd Hacienda del Alamo Women's Winter Festival earlier this month, is still on a Spanish high.
Today she reached the quarter-finals of the Spanish women's open amateur championship at Las Palmas, Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands.
Charlie, pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency, 18th of the 32 qualifiers for the match-play, beat Danielle McVeigh (Northern Ireland) at the 19th in the first round this morning.
Then she toppled the No 2 seed, Nicola Rossler (Germany) on the 18th green by one hole in the very last tie to finish on a long day.
Now Charlie will play the No 10 seed, France's Emilie Alonso for a place in the Saturday afternoon semi-finals. Sunday's final, by the way, is over 18 holes.
Sian James (Bristol & Clifton) and Hannah Barwood (Knowle) both lost in the first round.
James, the 12th qualifier, lost by one hole to the 21st qualifier, Rosanna Crepiat (France).
Barwood, the 19th qualifier, went down by 4 and 2 to Switzerland's 14th qualifier, Rebecca Huber.
Mandy Goyos Ball, the 17-year-old daughter of a Lancashire woman, Angela Ball, is through to the last eight. The 24th qualifier, Mandy won by 5 and 4 against the No 9 seed, Laura Stempfle (Germany) and then beat another German, No 8 seed Sophia Popov by 3 and 1.
