Scottish Universities Golf 2009-10

Ever wondered what's available for students who want to play golf in Scotland?

Suzie McInally, the Scottish development co-ordinator for Scottish Universities Sport Ladies Golf has emailed kirkwoodgolf with information on this season's golf programme.

For scratch players, there are 4 order of merit events this year:

Event 1 Ladybank GC 4-5 October 2009
Event 2 Crail Golfing Society 2-3 November 2009
Event 3 Macdonald Cardrona 14-15 March 2010
Event 4 Moray GC 28-30 March 2010

For the Ladies League (Stableford)

Event 1 Craigielaw Golf Club 25th October 2009
Event 2 Dundonald Links 8th November 2009
Event 3 Scotscraig Golf Club 22nd November 2009
Event 4 TBC 14th February 2010
Event 5 The Dukes Course, St Andrews 28th February 2010
Event 6 TBC 21st March 2010

Ladies Handicap Championships

Windyhill Golf Club 14th-15th April 2010

In addition to this there are 3 tiers of the British Universities League in Scotland and Information on this can be found on the www.bucs.org.uk/golf website. Both men and ladies can play in this scratch league which runs throughout both semesters 1 and 2.

There are representative opportunities for both Scotland and Britain for our Home Internationals Side and the World Student Games.
