NEWS RELEASE
The 84th Ladies’ Open Gold Challenge Cup, scheduled for April 17 at Roehampton Club, London, will NOT take place this year.
It is with much regret that the Organising Committee has had to take this decision due to major development works at the Roehampton Club, which began last September and unfortunately are likely to continue well into April.
This work includes the implementing of a flood mitigation programme. In addition, there is to be extensive bunker renovation. The Organising Committee would like to present the course in the best possible condition.
They ask for your understanding and invite you to support the Gold Cup next year when the event will be played on SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 2011.
+The Roehampton Gold Cup is a two-round competition open to lady professionals and amateurs.
