Wake Forest student Dolores is top of the class

so far in the Harder Hall Women's Invitational

American student Dolores White (Wake Forest University) is setting a hot pace in the Harder Hall Women's Invitational, the first event on Florida's Orange Blossom Tour for female amateurs, at the Harder Hall Country Club, Sebring.
Dolores is the halfway leader on five-under-par 139 after rounds of 70 and 69.
She is one shot ahead of the 14-year-old rising US star, Alexis Thompson (Coral Springs, Florida) and past US women's mid-am champion Meghan Stasi.
Defending champion Candace Schepperle from Birmingham, Alabama is still in the picture on 141 after scores of 72 and 69.
English girls champion Holly Clyburn (Woodhall Spa) is the leading British & Irish player after rounds of 72 and 76 for 148.
Ireland's US-based Stephanie Meadow and Rachel Cassidy (Stirling University & The Island, Dublin) are bracketed with Majorca-based Scot, Lauren Mackin, who is a member of Ranfurly Castle on the 142 mark. Stephanie has shot 73-79, Rachel 78-74 and Lauren 74-78.
Scottish Under-21 champion for the past two years, Kelsey MacDonald (Stirling University & Nairn Dunbar), like Holly Clyburn and Stephanie Meadow a member of the preliminary Curtis Cup squad for the June 2010 match at Essex County Club, is back on 155 after scores of 78 and 77.
