Ireland name captains, managers for 2010 international teams

Claire Robinson (Knock), Sinead Keane (The Curragh), Roma English (Larne) and Ailish McCartan (Greenore) will captain the Irish women's, girls' and senior international teams for the 2010 season.
Sinead Keane, a past international, will continue as captain for the Irish girls' European team championships at Aalborg, Denmark from July 6 to 10. Keane will look to lead her team to a successful defence of the title won by Irish side in Finland in 2009.
Ailish McCartan (Greenore) will accompany Sinead as team manager for the European championships before taking over the reigns as team captain for the girls' home international matches at Bangor from August 4 to 6. Aisling O'Leary (Wexford) will act as team manager for this event.
Claire Robinson, a past Curtis Cup player, will once again lead the Irish team for both the European women's team championships at La Manga, Spain from July 6 to 10 and the women's home international matches at Whitchurch, Cardiff from September 8 to 10.
Ballycastle's Fiona McComb will accompany the sides as team manager.
Roma English, with many years' experience of international events, will serve as captain of the Irish senior teams for both the Seniors' Europeans team championships at Berlin, Germany, from August 31 to September 4 and the Seniors Home Internationals at Sheringham, from September 28 to 30.
