Charlie Douglas laid low by stomach bug: Out of Festival finale

English amateur champion Charlie Douglass has had to withdraw from the Hacienda del Alamo Ladies Open after only one round of the main, 54-hole event at the HDA February Festival.
She's been laid low by a stomach bug - surely, not something she ate out there? - and would never have made it past the first tee.
The Brocket Hall left-hander, a member of the GB&I Curtis Cup preliminary squad, had a first-round 74.
Tough luck, Charlie, but thanks for your continued support of the Hacienda del Alamo Festival.
