NATASHA SLIPS TO JT 47TH IN
SPRING REBEL INVITATIONAL

Cheshire's Natasha Podmore (San Francisco University) slipped from joint 34th overnight to a final position of joint 47th in a field of 96 players for the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational women's college tournament at Boulder Creek Golf Club, Boulder in Nevada.
Natasha, pictured right, shot rounds of 76, 73 and 77 for a total of 10-over-par 226 over a par-72 lay-out measuring 6,204yd.
Cathryn Bristow (Oregon University) won the individual title by two shots with scores of 69, 69 and 70 for eight-under-par 208.
Runner-up was Ulrika Van Niekerk (Texas Tech) with 70, 71 and 69 for 210.
There was a tie for first place in the team event with Washington State and Brigham Young both finishing on 859. That was 10 shots ahead of third-placed Oregon with Texas Tech and San Francisco joint fourth on 870 in a field of 18 teams.
