Gemma improves to joint 25th
in Women's Landfall Tradition

Gemma Webster (Ohio State) from Glasgow improved to joint 25th place in a field of 60 with a second-round 75 for a 36-hole tally of 156 in the Women's Landfall Tradition college tournament at the Country Club of Landfall, Wilmington, North Carolina.
With one round to go, Gemma is 10 shots behind the leader, Wake Forest's Cheynne Woods who has scored 75 and 71 for two-over-par 146.
Gemma birdied the sixth and seventh but the inward half saw her drop shots at the 12th, 13th and 14th before running up a double bogey 6 at the 18th. She had a double bogey 7 in her first-round 81.
In the Men's Landfall Tradition tournament at the same venue, Alan Glynn (Xavier University) from Middlesex was in joint 31st place in a field of 60 with scores of 77 and 80 for 157, 11 shots behind the triple joint leaders.
