DAVID BOOTH HANGS ON TO TOP
10 POSITION IN WORLD UNI GOLF


Stirling University student David Booth, representing Great Britain), is in joint seventh position with one round to go in the world university men's golf championships at Sun City, South Africa.
David has had rounds of 69, 76 and 78 for a 54-hole tally of 223 - 11 shots behind the all-the-leader, Italy's Leonardo Motta.
GB team-mate Andy Shakespear held on to third place with a 74 for 219.
Paul Betty, another Stirlig student, is down in joint33rd postiion after an 80 for 237.
Great Britain (667) are lying third in the men's team event behind Japan (656) and Italy (665).
Laura Murray (Robert Gordon University) had an 82 for 246 and a share of 28th place. She is 19 shots behind the joint leaders, Marion Ricordeau (France) and Caroline Rominger (Switzerland).
Great Britain (467) are fifth in the women's team event behind Switzerland (451), United States (42), France (455) and Japan (462).
