UNITED STATES COLLEGE TOURNAMENTS ROUND-UP

Katy back in action at Tuscawila, Florida

Katy McNicoll (Lynn University, Florida) has been quickly back in action on the American women's college golf circuit following last week's unfortunate scorecard disqualification due to an error on the part of her marker.
Katy had rounds of 78 and 74 for 152 on the first day of the two-day Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational women's college tournament at Tuscawila Country Club, Winter Springs in Florida.
Sandra Chankija (Nova Southeastern leads by two with a 36-hole tally of 143 over the 6,089, par-72 lay-out.

HANNAH TRAILS IN NEVADA
Hannah Lovelock (Missouri) was sharing 48th place in a field of 96 after the first round of the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club, Nevada. She had an 82 over the par-72, 6234 course.
Spaniard Marta Silva (Georgia) leads by four with a very good round of 70.

JAMES BYRNE HAS A 76 IN FRESNO STATE
Banchory's James Byrne had a score of four-over-par 76 over the 6,511yd couse at Belmont Country Club in the first round of the Fresno State Lexus Classic. James was tied 60th in the field of 104.
Englishman Andrew Cooley (San Diego State) was joint 13th with a 73.

Todd Angel (Fresno State) leads by one with a 69.
