Kristy struggling to find her form

on United States circuit

Surrey county player Kirsty Rands, a freshman student at the University of Mississippi, is getting her second tournament outing this week on the 2008-2009 US college golf circuit.
Kristy, pictured right, is obviously struggling to play anywhere near her best form. She had a nine-over-par 81 to be lying joint 93rd in a field of 96 for the Louisiana State University Classic at Baton Rouge.
She had a 9 at the par-4 fourth and a double bogey 6 at the 12th. Her only birdie came at the seventh.
In her first tournament, back in October, she averaged 81.3 strokes per round.
Leading the field over the par-72, 6425yd University Club course is Calle Nielson (Virginia University) with a five-under-par 67. She leads by one from Sweden's Jacqueline Hedwall (Louisiana State University) and Allie White (North Carolina).
